(ANSA) - Pistoia, April 20 - A woman kept her mother's dead
body hidden in her house for years to keep cashing her pension,
police said Thursday.
Police said they found the badly decomposed body of a
90-year-old woman wrapped in blankets and plastic bags in the
corner of a room in the house at Pescia in Tuscany she had
shared with her 51-year-old daughter.
The daughter has been charged with defrauding the Italian
State and hiding a cadaver.
