(ANSA) - Rome, March 24 - A Rome detention-review court on
Friday rejected a plea to release Alfredo Romeo, a
Neapolitan businessman arrested on March 1 on suspicion of
corruption in a probe into suspected graft at civil-service
procurement agency CONSIP. Sports Minister Luca Lotti and the
father of ex-premier Matteo Renzi are under investigation in the
same probe.
