(ANSA) - Milan, February 20 - Italian police on Monday said
they had broken up a racket giving residency permits to illegal
immigrants via fake job hiring.
Police placed 171 people under investigation across Lombardy
and made 11 arrests in the Monza-based probe.
They said the gang had set up more than 30 fake companies.
