(ANSA) - Genoa, January 17 - A reported 300 people were
forced to flee the district of Pegli in Genoa on Tuesday due to
a vast fire on the hills around the port city.
The number, which has not been officially confirmed, is
expected to grow in the coming hours.
Two Canadair fire-fighting planes, along with firefighters
and volunteers have been deployed to stop the fire that started
on Monday.
