(ANSA) - Milan, December 7 - Carabinieri police have notified
Mario Marcone, the former partner of a 43-year-old woman killed
with a shot to the head and found floating in a disused quarry
in the Milan-area town of Cernusco sul Naviglio, that he is
under investigation, sources said on Wednesday.
The body of Gabriella Fabbiano was found wrapped in
cellophane.
She was wearing pyjamas, was barefoot, her hands were tied,
and her body had been tied to three blocks of cement.
The coroner put time of death at one or two days prior to the
discovery of her remains on Monday.
