Man arrested for sexual abuse

(ANSA) - Varese, December 7 - An elderly man was placed under house arrest on Wednesday on charges of aggravated sexual violence for allegedly abusing his two young granddaughters over the course of years.
    The probe began following a report from a school teacher.
    Investigators say the abuse started when the girls were at primary school and were looked after by their grandfather.
