(ANSA) - Rome, December 7 - After five consecutive quarters
of growth, the number of people in employment dropped by 14,000
(0.1%) in the third quarter of 2016 compared to the second.
However, the number of people in work was up by 239,000 compared
to the same period in 2015. The year-on-year rise was driven by
a 189,000 rise in the number of women in employment.
