(ANSA) - Naples, December 2 - Jailed Casalesi clan boss
Michele Zagaria extorted some two billion euros from shoe
manufacturers near Caserta, prosecutors said Friday.
Zagaria also extorted money from a company that built the
shoe-making complex, they said.
The Casalesi clan is one of the most powerful in the
Naples-based Camorra mafia.
Its death threats forced anti-mafia writer Roberto Saviano
into police protection 10 years ago.
