(ANSA) - Naples, November 30 - A newborn girl was found in
the street at Villa Literno near Caserta Wednesday. She was
found wrapped in a blanket and with her umbilical cord tied up
with a shoelace, police said. She was rushed to a local clinic
where she was said to be in good condition. Carabinieri are
combing the area to see if there are any CCTV cameras that might
have filmed the person or persons who left rthe baby in the
street.
