(ANSA) - Rome, November 23 - Despite an improvement in
European air quality, atmospheric pollution remains the main
environmental risk factor for health, lowers quality of life and
is the estimated cause of 467,000 premature deaths each year in
Europe, the European Environment Agency (EEA) said in its 2016
report on European air quality Wednesday.
