(ANSA) - Ragusa, November 17 - Over 150 officers took part Thursday morning in a massive operation against an alleged international drug trafficking ring.
Arrest warrants were issued for 17 individuals by the Catania anti-mafia unit in Sicily and 17 search warrants were issued for others after investigations by the Modica and Ragusa police. Investigators say that the ring controlled drug trafficking from Albania to Ragusa and included people of several nationalities.
