(ANSA) - Potenza, October 10 - The head of a company
involved in providing accommodation to asylum seekers was
arrested by police on Friday for suspected aggravated fraud of
public money, sources said.
The case concerns a contract for services in the the
province of Potenza that started on March 1 with a value of
around nine million euros.
The man is under investigation along with two other people
who were not arrested, sources said.
The company head allegedly defrauded the Italian State of
several thousand euros by filing reports which inflated the
number of migrants in the facility.
