(ANSA) - Brescia, September 30 - A preliminary hearing took
place Friday into an alleged plan by Lombardy and Veneto
secessionists to occupy St Mark's Square in Venice with a
home-made tank two years ago.
After preliminary discussion the session was adjourned to
March 3.
A preliminary investigations judge must decide whether to
send the case to trial in Brescia, where the first meeting by
the alleged plotters took place, or move it to Padua, where they
built their armoured 'Tanko' vehicle with which they hoped to
carry out the incursion.
