(ANSA) - Rome, September 30 - Italy's Civil Protection
Department issued a weather advisory Friday ahead of a storm
front expected to hit the island region of Sardinia and move on
to northern and central mainland regions at the weekend.
Rainstorms with lightning, hail and strong winds are
forecast for the Abruzzo, Emilia Romagna, Lazio, Liguria,
Tuscany and Umbria regions.
The department also issued a Saturday flood alert in the
basins of the Trebbia and Taro rivers in Emilia Romagna.
