(ANSA) - Foggia, September 29 - The mayor of a town that
has run out of money near Foggia in Puglia is taking children to
school in his Panda car because they don't have enough cash to
pay for the school bus.
"I think Zapponeta is the most indebted town in Europe,"
Vincenzo D'Aloisio told ANSA, saying the town's debts amounted
to 17 million euros.
