90-year-old saved after wasting away (2)

(ANSA) - Turin, September 29 - A 90-year-old woman decided to starve herself to death lying beside the body of her 96-year-old sister who had died, apparently from a pulmonary edema, in their Turin home, hospital sources said Thursday.
    The second sister was taken to hospital in critical condition after a week lying by her dead sister's side.
    The first sister was said to have died either last Thursday or Friday.
    An autopsy was ordered.
