Quake: Funerals at Amatrice at 18:00 Tue (2)

(ANSA) - Amatrice, August 29 - The funerals of earthquake victims at Amatrice will be held in that Lazio village at 18:00 Tuesday after a planned move the provincial capital Rieti was nixed, Amatrice Mayor Sergio Pirozzi said after a protest by survivors. He said he had spoken with Premier Matteo Renzi.
    Amatrice was the worst-hit of the central Italian mountain villages devastated by a 6.2-magnitude quake on August 24.
