(ANSA) - Brussels, August 25 - European Council President
Donald Tusk said in a letter to Premier Matteo Renzi Thursday he
was ready to do his "utmost to help the authorities and the
Italians in this moment of pain and suffering" following a
devastating earthquake. Tusk voiced his condolences and praised
the rescue effort after the 6.2-magnitude quake which has killed
241 people according to the latest provisional toll from the
civil protection department.
