Quake: 270 hurt says civil protection

(ANSA) - Rome, August 25 - The 6.2-magnitude earthquake that hit central Italy Wednesday injured 270 people who were taken to hospital, the civil protection department said Thursday. It said 196 were hospitalised in the Rieti area of Lazio and 74 in Marche.
