(ANSA) - Rome, August 25 - The death toll from Wednesday's
6.2-magnitude earthquake in Lazio and Marche could be worse than
the 309 killed by the 2009 L'Aquila quake, Civil Protection
Department chief Fabrizio Curcio told Sky News Thursday. The
latest provisional toll from yesterday's tremor is 241 dead.
