(ANSA) - Ancona, July 26 - A verdict is expected later this
afternoon in the fast-track trial of a 16-year-old girl accused
of conspiracy in the November 7 murder of her parents.
Fabio Giacconi, a non-commissioned Italian Air Force
officer, and his wife Roberta Pierini, both died after their
daughter's boyfriend Antonio Tagliata, 19, shot them on November
7, 2015.
Tagliata has said his girlfriend, who has not been named
because of her age, hatched the plan to murder her parents, who
were against their relationship. He is being tried separately,
and a preliminary investigations judge is scheduled to hear the
results of his psychiatric evaluation tomorrow.
The prosecution in the girl's trial has requested 18 years.
