Rouen priest 'victim of declared war'

(ANSA) - Rome, July 26 - The leader of Rome's Jewish community said Tuesday a Catholic priest who was murdered by knife-wielding alleged Islamist extremists in a church near Rouen, France, earlier today was the victim of a declared war.
    "The priest whose throat was cut in France is the victim of a declared war," Ruth Dureghello tweeted. "Pointless to keep hiding it. We stand with you".
