Police seeking 'bicycle killers'

(ANSA) - Ferrara, July 25 - A manhunt is ongoing for two killers who shot at an elderly couple and fled on bicycles, police said Monday. Roberto Tosi Savonuzzi, 73, died on the spot and his wife Raffaella Pareschi of the same age was hospitalized in critical condition after being shot upon answering the door on Sunday morning. Investigators say they are focusing on the 36-year-old boyfriend of the elderly couple's landlord's daughter, whom they questioned for hours on Sunday. The motive behind the attack may have been a quarrel between neighbors over water infiltration from a balcony, sources said. The incident took place in the town of Fossanova San Marco in Ferrara province.
