(ANSA) - Asti, June 27 - Asti Judge Alberto Giannino on
Monday sentenced a man to 30 years in jail for the murder of
tobacconist Maria Luisa Fassi, who died after being stabbed 45
times in her shop on July 4 last year.
Pasqualino Folletto, who confessed to the murder, cried
after the sentencing.
His defense attorney Silvia Merlino announced that her
client will appeal.
Fassi, 54, died after 10 hours' suffering in hospital.
