Five teens arrested for gang rape (2)

(ANSA) - Salerno, June 27 - Carabinieri police on Monday arrested five teens aged 15-17 on suspicion of the gang rape of a 16-year-old girl last night. The boys are all from the Salerno-area town of San Valentino Torio, where the victim was accosted while walking around the central part of town on Sunday night.
    The gang forced her into a garage where they took turns raping her.
    The victim told her parents and reported the attack to police. A rape kit at hospital confirmed she had been subjected to violent non-consensual sex.
    Police picked up each of the boys at their respective homes.
