(ANSA) - Pordenone, June 23 - Police arrested 10 people on
Thursday in connection with an alleged crime ring specialised in
burglaries of plush villas, ANSA sources said.
The investigation began last September following a burglary
at a villa in Sacile in the province of Pordenone, about an hour
north of Venice.
Investigators said the criminal gang is based in Rome but
committed burglaries in wealthy homes throughout Italy and
abroad.
