ISIS foreign fighter recruiter nabbed (2)

(ANSA) - Trieste, June 23 - A Slovenian national, 26-year-old Rok Zavbi, arrested May 6 on a European arrest warrant in Ljubljana, was extradited to Italy Thursday on charges he enlisted two Macedonian foreign fighters in Belluno to fight for ISIS in Syria. He is the first foreign fighter returnee to be extradited to Italy. Zavbi was taken into custody by border police and Carabinieri at the former international crossing point at Fernetti on the Italo-Slovenian border and was taken to a prison in northern Italy.
