(ANSA) - Milan, May 30 - A 43-year-old man hung himself
after suffocating his 7-year-old son to death in the Lombard
village of Tovo di Sant'Agata, local media reported Monday.
The man named as Protasio sala had left a note for his
wife, a hospital nurse, saying he was sorry.
The incident took place Sunday afternoon.
The couple was reportedly on the brink of separation.
Carabinieri police are investigating.
