(ANSA) - Bari, May 30 - Italian police on Monday arrested
eight people - five Albanians and three Italians - for bringing
arms and drugs into Italy from Albania.
The gang allegedly hid their haul in the countryside around
Bari and Brindisi, police said.
Police found a tonne of marijuana, a Kalashnikov, 170
bullets and 4.5kg of gelignite.
