(ANSA) - Rome, April 28 - The European Commission is prepared to examine a request from Italy and seven other countries to revise output gap calculations, European Commissioner for the Euro Valdis Dombrovskis said Thursday. "We are aware of the assessments made by other colleagues and we are prepared to assess and, where necessary, adapt the methodology," he said.
