Davigo wrong to generalise says Gratteri

(ANSA) - Rome, April 22 - New ANM magistrates union chief Piercamillo Davigo was wrong to generalise in saying that many Italian politicians steal, new Catanzaro chief prosecutor Nicola Gratteri said Friday.
    "Davigo is an intelligent, well-prepared and brilliant person but I think he was wrong to generalise, you always have to be specific," Gratteri said on La7 talk show Otto e Mezzo.
    "If you say 'they're all thieves', you play into the hands of the thieves," Gratteri said.
