(ANSA) - Milan, April 14 - A 19-year-old graffiti artist was killed and another young man was seriously injured late Wednesday after they were hit by a train at a station in Milan.
Svyatoslav Naryshev, an Italian citizen originally from Russia, died on the spot while writing at Greco Pirelli station around 10:00 pm local time. His companion, 21, sustained serious injuries to his right leg which doctors have said will take 25 days to heal.
Reports said the train did not stop after hitting the pair because the driver was allegedly unaware of the impact. People living in a nearby apartment block raised the alarm after hearing shouts. Police are investigating.
