(ANSA) - Trieste, April 12 - Police said Tuesday they have
arrested an Italian national on suspicion of murdering an
elderly woman then turning on the gas in a bid to blow up the
house and cover up the crime.
The suspect in the January 22 robbery and homicide of
Nerina Zennaro, 87, is Trieste native Tiziano Castellani, 42.
Objects belonging to the victim were recovered in his home.
He reportedly has a rap sheet that includes robbing the
elderly and the mentally impaired.
