(supersedes previous)(ANSA) - Pisa, March 23 - Fire fighters and police fished the body of a 30-something man out of the Arno River in the Tuscan city of Pisa on Wednesday.
The man was last seen alive on an ATM security camera recording, when he withdrew 100 euros. Police found a note in his room, in which he asked people not to look for him.
His body was found near a so-called 'retone' (Italian for big net), a wooden shack on stilts from which fishermen used to throw large nets into the Arno. The body showed no outward signs of violence and was dressed in the same clothes he left home in, police said.
