(ANSA) - Rome, March 10 - A man was arrested on charges of
aggravated sexual assault on a minor for molesting a 10-year-old
autistic boy at a Rome school, police said Thursday.
The suspect, a 54-year-old Rome-born freelance special
needs teacher, was nailed by hidden camera surveillance and
wiretaps.
A teacher reported him to police after she noticed the man,
who has not been named, spent too much time with the child in
the bathroom.
Police searched the suspect's home, car, and school locker
and seized his computer and other personal effects to find out
if he visited pedophile sites or has molested other children in
the past.
