(ANSA) - Villa San Giovanni, November 30 - Ferries to
Sicily from the Calabrian port of Villa San Giovanni were unable
to take passengers and vehicles aboard on Monday due to a
protest against the government's 2016 budget bill. The protest
was organised by Italy's big three trade union confederations,
CGIL, CISL and UIL. In Crotone protesters halted traffic on the
106 state highway, while other demonstrators occupied a junction
of the A3 motorway in Cosenza.
