83% of Romans scared of Jubilee attacks

Half of people see militant Islamists as biggest threat - survey

(ANSA) - Rome, November 24 - A total of 83% of Romans are frightened of potential terror attacks during Pope Francis' Jubilee, or Holy Year, which is due to start on December 8 and draw millions of Catholic pilgrims to Rome.
    The figure was revealed by a survey presented on Tuesday during a conference on Rome's efforts to tackle terrorism linked to the Jubilee.
    About half of respondents in the survey saw the biggest threat coming from militant Islamists.
    It also revealed that 48% of respondents, who were surveyed after the attacks in Paris, declared that they "do not know any immigrants and do not want to associate with them".
