(ANSA) - Rome, August 7 - Beach resorts are seeing a 25%
increase this year in vacationers to the shores, said beach
resorts union CEA Balneatori in a survey released Friday.
The survey reported that the weeks of August including the
August 15 "Ferragosto" holiday are seeing full bookings, marking
a turn of events over past years when the economic crisis kept
many holidaymakers away from the beaches.
The survey included 500 members of 50 beach resort areas in
Italy.
