Elderly man dead after hit-and-run

(ANSA) - Bologna, July 27 - A pensioner died Monday and his wife continued hospitalized in serious condition after they were both run over on a crosswalk Sunday night in the town of Monte San Pietro in Bologna province.
    Nicola Morea, 73, and his 66-year-old wife are both from the town of Casalecchio di Reno in Matera province.
    The couple were run over by unknowns at the wheel of a Fiat Idea car and thrown several meters while crossing on a crosswalk.
