Jubilee pilgrims 'will spend 5 bn euros'

(ANSA) - Rome, July 1 - The Catholic Church's Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy will bring 25 million pilgrims to Italy and they will spend an estimated five billion euros between 8 December 2015 and 20 November 2016, farmers' association Coldiretti said Wednesday.
    "There should also be a positive effect on employment given that the last Holy Year in 2000 gave a 1% boost to job creation," said Coldiretti President Roberto Moncalvo.
