Some six million Italians take vacation

(ANSA) - Rome, May 29 - About 6.14 million Italians will take a mini-vacation this long weekend, taking advantage of Tuesday's holiday to enjoy a taste of summer, said a survey Friday by Federalberghi. It said that was an increase of 6.6% over 2014. This year, almost 92% will stay in Italy, compared with 88% last year, and 7.1% will travel outside the country, compared with 10.6% in 2014, said the survey.
