(ANSA) - Turin, May 29 - Supporters of Juventus on Friday
commemorated the "saddest day" in the soccer club's history 30
years ago when 39 people died in the Heysel Stadium disaster.
The Juventus soccer team's website recalled the day which it
said should have been "a time of celebration...It turned into
tragedy". Fans, mostly for Juventus, were killed in the stadium
collapse before the 1985 European Cup Final between Juventus and
Liverpool at the Heysel Stadium in Brussels.
