(ANSA) - Rome, May 25 - Two soccer fans were stabbed near the Olympic stadium before the highly anticipated Roma-Lazio derby, police said Monday. The pair, believed to be Roma supporters, were both stabbed in the abdomen and rushed by ambulance to hospital. Authorities said it appears their injuries were not life-threatening and the incident occurred near the Tiber on the Lungotevere Thaon di Revel. The match is important for deciding who takes second spot in Serie A.
