(ANSA) - Bolzano, May 22 - Bolzano Mayor Luigi Spagnolli on Friday said he would protest the May 24 display of the Italian flag to mark the centenary of Italy's entry into the First World War by flying the flag at half-mast.
Spagnolli said "the start of that war, like all wars, represented a defeat for humanity".
