(ANSA) - Turin, May 12 - A 55-year-old Romanian national was fatally electrocuted late Monday night while trying to steal copper wire from a junction box near the Piedmont regional capital Turin in northern Italy. The accident occurred around midnight in the Ponte Po district of Carignano.
The man's 22-year-old son was also present at the time of the incident and subsequently raised the alarm.
He has been cited by police for attempted theft.
