(ANSA) - Catania, May 8 - A prosecutor said Friday that "more than 700, maybe 800" bodies will likely be recovered from the sunken wreck of a suspected migrant ship that sank on April 18 off the coast of Libya. Giovanni Salvi said that the wreck found by Italian Navy searchers one day earlier contained "many bodies" and is consistent with the vessel reported missing.
Officials on Thursday located a blue, 25-meter boat lying 375 meters below the surface of the sea and 85 miles northeast of the Libyan coast.
