(ANSA) - Milan, May 4 - A Milan judge on Monday ordered five
people be held in custody after they were detained by police in
connection with anti-Expo clashes that turned violent on the
opening day of the world's fair. The five deny the allegations
of resisting a public official aggravated by the use of weapons
and by the number of people involve. An anti-Expo march last
Friday degenerated into violence when some masked individuals
began lobbing Molotov cocktails and paper bombs at police,
setting cars on fire, and destroying shop windows.
