(ANSA) - Bologna, April 28 - Bologna's surveillance court on
Tuesday confirmed the house arrest of Anna Maria Franzoni, who
is serving 16 years for killing her three-year-old son Samuele
in January 2002.
In July 2004, Franzoni was sentenced to 30 years in prison
following the grisly killing of her infant son in the family
home in Cogne.
The sentence was reduced to 16 years in 2007.
Franzoni is currently under house arrest in her home in the
central Italian town of Ripoli di Santa Cristina, where she
lives with her husband and two children.
