(ANSA) - Kathmandu, April 27 - The two Italians killed in
Nepal's earthquake were named by two hospitalised trekking
companions Monday as Renzo Benedetti and Marco Pojer.
Official confirmation of their identities is still lacking.
Benedetti and Pojer were named by Iolanda Mattevi, who was
injured, and Attilio D'Antoni, who was unhurt.
The survivors said they and the two dead men were trekking
at an altitude of about 3,500 metres in the Rolwaling Valley
when they were hit by a landslide triggered by Saturday's
7.8-magnitude quake.
