Priest arrested for sex abuse of minors

(ANSA) - Vercelli, April 24 - Vercelli parish priest Father Massimo Iuculano was arrested Friday on suspicion of sexual abuse of minors. Police said Father Iuculano lured young boys with text messages, Whatsapp and Facebook and subjected them to "special massages" by claiming to be an expert in sports and physical therapy. The priest has been suspended. Pope Francis has clamped down on predator priests within the Catholic Church, which now works fully with civil authorities on all cases.
